That is because everyone has given up on it. I hope people realize its not as hard to make 300whp as it has been made out to be.

everyone gave up on it because it is the least efficient way possible to make decent power. if you are just wanting to make hp for cheap, nitrous makes more sense. if you want to stay a blower car, tvs makes more sense. if you want to make big power, turbo is the only choice

300whp is not decent power for a FWD car? hmm

not when you know how much more you can make other routes...

like i said if you are just aiming for 300whp and nothing else, just spray the bastard. its that simple.

when did it being fwd have anything to do with you making 300whp on an m62, that literally has nothing to do with anything in this thread.

Exactly. And that's why we have people spending upwards of 2 grand on the TVS only to make the same power.

Hahaha i think vince hates me, everytime i try and get ahold of him its like 3 months or so lol. And i live like 20min from him too.

Oh and besides eric i too have yet to see proof of these so-called 300whp stock longblock m62 LSJ's, wether or not they were now or then, someone should have found a thread or something by now.

I'm scared. But these engines can take a lot of abuse with proper tuning and cooling mods.

so you are comparing a handful of guys that made/make JUST over 300whp, to a mod that has yielded in excess of 340whp on stock motors. hmmmm

for the record, i do fully agree the tvs is not the most intelligent mod if the goal is just high hp and you are throwing around a couple grand.

you wont find it. everyone that has done it is onto bigger and better setups now. 300whp is a joke to them now.

and to stir the pot. find someone else who has trapped higher than 114mph on a stock blower/motor without nitrous. until them, game over

TVS = glorified M62 heat producer with a $2000+ price tag. Thanks, but no thanks.

There needs to be a twin screw developed for our cars. Not just a bigger air blower.

281whp on an otherwise stock LSJ Cobalt.

Now imagine adding supporting mods and a smaller pulley to that.
