wow really imo that is way to much water i would up it to at least 75% meth
the meth is what gets rid of the knock not the water

Sort of, kind of correct

water has greater knock control over meth

yeah i guess but it is still to much water imo i think it could be hurting you power
you should give a 75% meth mixture a try

It's give and take

This is a roots setup on 25 psi, not turboed

I've ran a 80/20 & 90/10 mix w/ negligent results

after you swap your header i think you will see a good boost drop and that much water wont be required for cooling and the more meth will really help get you timing up without knocking
did you run the 80/20 and 90/10 with a 19gph nozzle tho

The 14gph was sufficient for cooling; it wasn't providing sufficient octane

That's where the 19gph stepped in

According to test I've done in the past, the psi difference between the stock exhaust manifold, shorty v2 header and jbp noodle header are exactly the same. The psi drop every time came from either running a 2.5" dp or 3" dp.

ok i am just putting my opinion out there
i think you should give it a try once you swap header
if it doesnt work no biggie it is not like it is something hard to change
i have always ran a 75% mix

It's not that I don't appreciate your opinion

It's just that I've seen this kind of post all to many times. Your blindly giving me your opinion without knowing anything bout whats going on during WOT in my car, whether it be 3rd or 4th.

And it's not like I just started using water injection yesterday. I've ran the shorty header, 3" dp and 3" catback in the past w/ higher meth mixtures. It's all great and dandy; though my best results always came from a 50/50 mixture.

Ahhh the good ole days when a 3gph was sufficient...

m62, 2.8 pulley paired w/ a 3gph nozzle = richens afr 5-6%

I really wish I could dial in the tune off meth first, then add the water injection in after and adjust via the p.e. table. I absolutely hate tuning water/meth via the maf!!!
If only 100 octane did not cost a damn fortune

Maybe if I beg and plead my dad to allow me to use part of his auto body shop for a dyno...

That would be epic... can you imagine going.. "Ya.......... I'm going to tune on my dyno...."

or...

"I'm bored... im gonna go fudge around on my dyno"
