Lsj + mp90 dynoed!

4psi drop is outstanding. That's a lot of restriction that's now gone.
Now focus on the intake side.......lol.........then port the head......lmao!

Glad to see the shorty helped out.
Are you going to dyno with the 2.5" downpipe before you install the 3"? I think that would be a nice comparison to show the difference in power between the noodle & shorty.

In my opinion, he should just change it all. The shorty has a 3" collector and will work best with a 3" downpipe. The primaries are bigger than the noodle also.

If he dynos with the shorty and 2.5" downpipe it will give a clear indication of how much better it helped over the noodle header. He has done all this research and dyno testing why stop now. He can easily bolt the 3" downpipe on after a pull with the 2.5" downpipe.

after this next dyno
Euthanasia and I have something that should free enough restriction so we don't boost more than 25 psi on a 2.6

lulz i thought he wasn't going to drop any boost pressure from just changing the header.. i SWEAR just the DP was the restriction..

and of course you wouldnt see much of a difference on an M62 its not pushing enough air nor can you really spin it fast enough, i mean isnt like a 2.5 ring 23 psi or something?

calling the dyno first thing in the morning
I'll be testing out a few things:
1) Make the 300whp barrier a thing of the past; make 285-300 ft lbs
2) Direct comparison of the jbp header vs the shorty header (rest of the exhaust remains the same)
3) LS4 TB vs Stock TB comparison
4) See if PSI dropped
For as close to direct comparison as I can replicate, the following will be done to mimic the previous dyno session tune.
Timing will ramp from 18 - 25.5*, as it did before.
AFR will start/end @ 11.5
After the direct comparison pulls are made; I'll see how much I can squeeze out of it by leaning it some up top.

At least you took one of those headers out of the gene pool.
I think he is talking about something else.
Very cool man. Big props again for not being afraid to share your information with the rest of the community. Its guys like you that will continue to help this platform move forward.

Shoot... woke up a bit late today
I called and left a message... I prob. get a call back from the dyno shop today to schedule a session for tomorrow. Either way I'm going to show results extremely soon
