Tunnel ram is the intake manifold design on the 96-98 cobra's( your car), And the for record the 95 cobra is lighter than the 96-98 and come with a base HP rating of 240, Not the 180 you say above, Where as the 96-98 is rated at about 300 for both Hp and Tq, For 500 Hp And under 3K Head's Cam swap 125 shot and race gas Still under 3k BTW, Seen it on the dyno on a 95 with over 300K on it and still running strong!

this is you responding to his saying he wants a 96-98. which made me think that's what you had/have/whatever, And The 5.0 i saw put down allmost 500 RWHP was in a 95 GT NON COBRA( and it had less than 3k in parts!)A cobra that Hot rod U had did even better with a similar set up (once i got it running)! that's even worse it took you 3k on a 01 to see 360 Cause 3k for 40 horses is GETTING RIPPED OFF! I only say that because a basic bolt only 02 put down north of 360 for HP and TQ with a good tune With a head and cam swap the lincoln 5.0 Will wake up and make more than 300 to the tire. Im a ford guy and allways have been.

regardless if it's 89-93 2v 5.0s, 94-98 cobra 4v 4.6 or 05-07 gt
for under 3k, 400-500whp is easily obtainable on any one of them.

You never modded your car? what about your earlier post? If you were refering to your lincoln 5.0 above with the 3k remark then YOU should have been alittle clearer, And trust me a H.O head and cam swap with bolt's on's and alittle timing will net north of 360, For under 1,500 cause used working part's are just that cheap.

High flows (might as well go with a mid pipe) $350
Intake $Powerpipe 200
retune $400
That's alot more than "under 3K"
Unless you can budget shop used and rig enough to drop the price in half. Stuff will still be needed like gears etc.

That's his mod's List, I have seen a 95 GT5.0 with head's cam, Race gas running a a decent amount of timing and a 125shot put down allmost 500 RWHP, And the mod's Like was under 2k, This was in 04, I personally dynoed a 95 cobra with a similar setup and only it was not on race gas, And it put down allmost 400 to the tire. To each there own! Lol There are many ways to do it and it comes down tooo..... Different strokes for different folks!
