Perfect example of how to make power without destroying your car. Good work.

Staged07SS goes to the Dyno Part II

Oh poo... 291whp 231wtq lol

Last year:

Not what I wanted, but still decent for how warm out it got. Unheard of in NEPA to be mid 70's in the morning in September. Blah. Also, should have stuck with my Sunoco 110 race gas mix. I used VP MS100 and don't feel the car was making max race gas timing. All in all I'm happy to finally see where my peak power occurs, because the dyno operator finally reved her out (7750 rpm) per my request. Decided to finally be done with worrying about power numbers until my buddy Trevor (Tjolley) said he's sending me a rare 2.92" GM test pulley. So, either some time later this fall, or next spring, I'm going back to the dyno with my old tried and true race gas mix and the smaller pulley for one last round of pulls

On a side note, I educated some guys at the dyno meet. Many came up to me after my pulls to say how impressed they were with the power my little 4 cylinder made (more impressed than me). A guy with a big Dodge Ram even said "I would never expect a car like that to be fast/powerful", lol.

Info:

- Same dyno
- Same day 1 year later
- Same time
- Similar weather conditions (10 degrees warmer though)
- Same mods with addition to a ZZP Fuel Pump Re-wire

Modifications:

- H62
- GMR Ported head
- COMP/ZZP S1 Cams (210/206 duration @ 1mm & 10.78mm/10.69mm lift, 109 LSA)
- 75# Supertech Dual Valve Springs
- GMR Stage 3 PCM (H.O.M. Engaged)
- GMR Stage 3 2.99" Pulley
- GMPP 42 lb/hr injectors
- Modified Airbox w/ Factory AC Delco Air Filter
- NGK BKR7EIX Plugs gapped @ 0.031"
- Ported Throttle Body
- GMPP Ported Extrude Honed Manifold
- ZZP 3" Offroad Downpipe
- Corsa Touring 2.5" Catback
- GMR Dual Pass Endplate
- GMR Opt. B
- OTTP Gen 4 H.E.
- ZZP Fuel Pump Re-wire
- VP MS100 Race Gas ~ 100 octane

Nice pulls staged! That is a pretty looking graph despite if you didn't hit what you were looking for. The power keeps climbing.

Also note, the new one is SAE correction... old one was STD. STD will yield slightly higher numbers on a dynojet. Ask the dyno operator to see if he can pull that graph up for you in STD correction. may give you a better comparison... though I don't know if you'll beat your last years numbers.

Gave him a buzz... My STD correction numbers were 302.64whp 240.24wtq

I can't believe I didn't notice that... Oh well, good to know. SAE are generally regarded as more accurate anyways.

nice numbers, comparing Hockeymans numbers to yours (different cams, and M62 vs H62) id say pretty solid output from the H62 versus an all out M62 screaming
