how the hell are people making such high numbers with so few mods these days? is e85 that big of a deal?
hell before it was you had to port the head and everything along with full exhaust and others just to get to 300.....

aside from that awesome numbers.

Yes. E85 is kind of a big deal.

I'm gonna make that into a T-Shirt. It'll have the E85 Logo... and then underneath say, "I'm kind of a big deal."

i wonder what a 2.9 pulley and that same setup would bring. would 270's be reasonable. e85 is just amazing.

There would be a huge different in TQ on the low end and the HP would be about the same.

The cool thing about the M62 is that the TQ actually counts. All that low end TQ on a SS/TC does not mean anything.

I pulled a GMS1 SS/TC with my E85 blower car.

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/war-stories-54/06-e85-ion-redline-vs-09-gms1-cobalt-ss-tc-216128/

I was probably around 290whp/270wtq on the tune I was running that day.

the torque doesnt mean anything? of course it does..

gotta remember though, GMs1 is 300/300 at the crank. you had more power/torque than the LNF you raced

There seems to be a lot of variation in the TQ numbers with GMS1. I have seen most around 280-290 and a few well over 300.

it really comes down to power band. The stock turbo cobalts start to go down hill with torque and flaten out in horse power by 4000rpm
