*OFFICIAL* Torque App Mod's

This is the official location to discuss, create, and distribute the Torque App(Android, Apple) stuff. The Full Pro Torque App will cost you $4.95 + Tax(If Applicable). You will also need to buy a Bluetooth OBD2 Plug in... These can be found online and range from about $20 up to $150. The app gives lots of valuable data that can't be seen without a HPT and laptop which is just not fun as a daily usage, and the Aeroforce while being great is limited in functionality, costs $200+, but does supply a lot of great info.

You can use the free version to understand it a little better even if you don't have a OBD2 bluetooth for your car.

Buy Pro: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...l.torque&hl=en

Free(Torque Lite): https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...3JxdWVmcmVlIl0

Torque Scan(Free also, allows you to scan the car for input codes..You have to know what your doing to learn how to use them to create "Custom Codes"):
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...cnF1ZXNjYW4iXQ

I will try to update with more "Custom" codes and such as people PM me/add in the posts...

So far my main screen of working data:
Intake Temp(MAF)
RPM's
IAT2's (Custom Code below)
Throttle %
Coolant Temps
Boost(psi)
Timing Advance(No KR yet, working on a code to get to work)
Voltage

The app has plenty more thing, but this is my screen I use. You can set alarms and use a lot of different type of needles, graphs, ect to see the data.

To set up a custom code:
1. Open App
2. Press Menu
3. Click on Settings
4. Scroll down and Click on Manage PIDs/Sensors
5. Press Menu
6. Click Add "Custom PID"
7. A warning Screen may appear click "OK"
8. Enter data as listed below in "Custom Codes"
9. Click OK
10. Add the new PID into your Realtime Information screen

CUSTOM CODES:

IAT2:
OBD2 Mode & PID: 222006
Long Name: Intake Air Temp 2
Short Name: IAT2
Min value: 0.0
Maximum Value: 200.0
Scale: x1
Unit Type: C
Equation: A-40
OBD Header: Auto

Thanks,
Bratboy90

This is good stuff, I use torque in both my cars. I have the Pro version +Kiwi bluetooth system. I have it running on both my galaxy Nexus and Atrix HD phones.

One question that I did have is about the logging feature. I know that you can convert it to exel spreadsheet right? I've never been able to figure it out. You?

I have yet to mess with the logging feature yet... Last time I tried it, it wouldn't show me the log due to me not using the GPS... I just wanted to see what IAT2's were doing during a hard long pull... Whatever. I'm sure if you fiddle with it enough

I did see that if you click "Menu" in the Realtime Information you can click E-mail logs..

IM HOPING SOMEONE CAN FIGURE OUT THE PID FOR "KR"

Man the logging is great for number geeks!! I have 24 setup right now and makes for some pretty crazy data to compile!

To enable data logging you have to open the app>hit menu>Data Logging &upload>select what to log VIA the menu key.
I have 24 items selected in there from HP and torque to GPS info 1/4 speed throttle temps(including the one I added from OP) and tons more.

Once your done adding PID's to log go back to the main menu and select real time information. once there hit menu and then start logging. Also make sure that you secure your phone and then hit calibrate sensor.

Do your run or drive around for a bit. Oh and it doesn't hurt to turn on the "faster communications" in the settings.OBD2 adapter settings. gives you more data.

Oh and to export the log I export VIA CSV so you can open it in excel and get all the good raw data. The other options are Google Earth and only show where you went and if your GPS is off it can show you driving through buildings and such. No real data shown from what I can tell. To get the logs you must be in the realtime information screen>hit menu>then email logs select the latest log and email away.

I'll try and post up one of my logs.

And for those curious about this DO NOT BUY THE SMALL BLUE TRANSPARENT OBD2 ADAPTER!!!!!! it does not work with our cars!!

I bought the BAFX adapter after buying the small blue one. The place would not take it back but it did work in my sons impreza so I gave it to him.

Also do not leave these things plugged in as they will stay on and possible drain your battery.

Been running this for awhile now on my tablet and all Android phones (currently Samsung Galaxy Note 2... awesome screen real estate!). OP got my IAT2s working so I've been using this app more frequently.

Btw. Leaving the adapter plugged in had never drained my battery. It's always plugged in

Just don't buy the clear one... I suggest spending around $40+ the more you spend the better it will respond and if you go too cheap its going to drop signal sometimes... LOL

KR works for LNFs but the way.

There have been a lot of Torque threads created. Some of them have good data and pids that people found. You should probably link them in your OP.
