What kinda amp do you have? Cuz you could make two 2ohm dvc work.

No it won't work
His amp is a 2 ch kenwwod, that is good for 2 ohm stereo or 4ohm mono.
2 2ohm dvc will only work in 0.5ohm 2ohm or 8ohm in a mono aplication
Even if he ran 1 off of each channel, then its 1ohm or 4 ohm which wouldn't work

Nope its 2 4ohm DVC's or bust

yea i know...... ****, i knew all this before i bought it but wasnt thinking straight

i have 2 options now

a)go get 1 rockford fosgate p3 and be happy....... or
b)go buy the DVC 4ohm subs at best buy and swap mine out

how do u think the 1 p3 would be compared to 2 p2s?

Go with the 2 P2's
1 P3 will run you into the same sort of problems unless you get the 2 ohm version

IMO its better to go with the 2 P2's

Yea but my dad doesn't like buying **** and returning the wrong thing..... and I would only get the p3 if I made sure it was the right one lol, id have to look into wiring for one sub.... but would the p3 still hit hard? Or would the 2 p2s hit harder?

Ah yea. That sucks about the amp. Sometimes it just doesnt work out the way you want

The p3 is still gonna hit hard yes, but the 2 p2's would probably hit harder. Go with a well tuned box and you won’t have to worry about much.

If you’re going with the P3 just remember that the cones on them are kinda brittle. Don’t put anything back there that will hit it when its playing unless you want to open your trunk one day and see a spider cracked sub

i never use my trunk unless im snowboarding........

if i dont have room i will just take my sub out

but im probably going for the p2s..... then building my own sealed box to specs

So abc only carries the p2s in dual 2ohm, and the p3s in dual 4ohms..... so looks like my only option is best buy and swapping

id get a p3 for under $175....

but im returning my door speakers and the p2s that i have...... gunna give me $227 to play with

then im buying the right p2s that i need from sonicelectronix for $180 and im saving $47

i will buy door speakers when i save some more money because my mom doesnt even know ive taken **** back and got new ****, she thinks i still have the 10s lmao

dad is getting pissed because he has to keep dumping more money.... and my mom regulates his money because she is greedy like that

so the only option i have to get this right is to buy the correct **** and tell her im saving money.........
