[09 coupe] Want to separate rear brake lamp and turn signal
Hi,
I am searching what to modify to get on wire to brake/turn signal to rear lamps only turn signal. To left/right brake lamps I will put voltage from center brake lamp. Also need to made fog lamp.
Must done it becasue car is in EU.
Looking for complete electric diagram, idea if someone can help I will appreciate.

Ill get you some diagrams and connector views when I get a chance. You are going to have to run resistors on the rear turn/brake light circuit so you don't have fast flash. Also you should run a led rear turn bulb since you will have to splice of the front signal out of the bcm. Running two conventional bulbs on one line could damage the bcm with the extra amps it will pull on just the front circuit.

Hi there,
I modify taillights for the Cobalt, some of them have separated brake and blink function.
I have ran wires from the front blinkers to the back of my car and get the brake signal from the 3rd brake light like you suggested.
The fuses for the front blinkers are located in the BCM in the center console, but I found it easier to get the signal from the actual headlight wires.

Here is the lighting diagram and a connector view pinout of x1 and x3 of the bcm. x1 will have your front turn signal wiring, x3 will have the rear.

Ok, made it. Taking in BCM voltage from front turn signal to rear wires brake/turn signal. Turn signal was blinking too fast so I gave next to BCM two diodes and resistor(stick to metal by thermoconductivity glue). Stop signal left/right taken from center brake.
Got led lamps but they doesn't look so good like colodude18. I will made video and post here.
Now I am searching front brake disc and pads. It is quite interesting how many cars got identical but producers don't praise it. Searching and searching.

I got Turbo. Brake pads are identical in Opel Corsa Turbo (also Alfa 4C, Miata, Megane, Clio) so I taken TRW got option with Brembo (softer) but taken slotted and drilled rotor from another Opel - Astra Turbo 321mm with different centering hole 70mm so ordered centering rings. TRW brake pads should be harder. If it came in few days I will mount at mine friends place: front rotors, brake pads, rear hub, steering rack, also thinking to buy aluminium soundproof mat for sunroof.
Weak photo in night. Inside lamps are turning signals and reversing light.

Cracking in drilled rotors are normal it is cast iron. I want to go for track when (almost) everything will be ok and I will be no scared for hard drive. Because now car is only moving.
