**NEW** my fiberglass build, solo-barics.
i started this saturday. i hope to have the cloth resined by tomarrow so it will be a little stronger. more pics to come.

I was thinking the same thing. If it's close, you can add quilt batting. Fill the enclosure half full of it to make it perform like a larger enclosure. That enclosure only has a little over half the volume of your old box (if that). Your probably not going to get the low frequency extension you did with your good old MDF square box. Check the manual that came with your solos to see what the minimum sealed enclosure volume is. I think impulse did a pretty good job of getting the volume right on his box. You could try extending the bottom of the box to a point (angled at 22.5 to 30 degrees?) and pulling your rings forward more to increase the volume. Make the most of the versatility of fiberglass by adding some curves and/or angles to your foundation pieces.

No if you have Solo Barics L7's. Thats not enough space. Its gonna bust through if enough watts are out to it. I called Kicker when i made my box. They told me i needed about 1 foot of air space and to fiberglass the inside of the box to make sure.

ok guys i moved them forward more. i also have the fabric covering on. im going to try and get the first coat of resin on tomarrow. ill get pics.
