Whats up everybody. Having a bit of an issue. I purchased a pioneer DEX-X8500BS, PAC SWI-RC and American International GWH-404 Wire Harness for my wifes cobalt. I have power going to the head unit but I am not getting any sound. Also, do I even need the PAC module? Am i missing any thing. I sat in her car for 6 hours today trying to figure it out and figured i would turn to you guys for help. PLEASE HELP. Thanks. P.S. the only thing I am upgrading is the head unit.

The PAC SWI-RC is for your steering wheel controls. You do need the PAC SWI-RC hooked up to use your factory steering wheel controls with your aftermarket deck.

The reason you have no sound is most likely because you did not hook up the factory amplifier "Turn on/Remote" wire.

21.) I installed an aftermarket HU with my pioneer package cobalt and now my speakers wont play.... how do i fix this?

You must hook up the "remote" wire for the stock amp to the remote coming off the head unit. To do this you must cut the pink wire coming off the stock harness and connect it to the blue wire remote wire on your aftermarket HU harness.
