07-10 radio wiring harness?

does anyone know the part#? i got a new ipod touch so i have to get one now

stupid 05's dont have aux or usb port

I thought there was a GM device made for this... I seem to recall it pictured in at least one persons sig here...

gm-link or something to that effect??

the ipod interface for the stock hu (07-10 only) is called the gm pal

i have an 05 with stock head unit... so im going to buy a 07-10 headunit (since i got an ipod) i just need to knw the part # for the wiring harness so i can get the new head unit to work in my car

I didn't think it was possible. Probably best just to get a aftermarket HU. But I'm sub'd for more info.


You could also do the AUX input mod. Not hard at all. I did it in about 20 minutes

and that AUX mod id prolly screw up my whole radio and it wouldnt work lol

Its honestly not hard. Cut 3 wires from teh XM. Splice in the 3 wires from the AUX cable. Crimp, or solder. Done. The you can either just mount the AUX input hole in the trim some where, or be lazy like I did

you cant swap just the radios. the tech in them is different. you'd need to do the wiring then reprogram the pcm to work with the new radio

can u navigate the ipod through the steering wheel controls?

i got a buddy at the dealer that can unlock and program it to my car. I just need to knw if the wiring harness will work in my car with new radio
