How much weight would this add?? I am intrigued by it, but I am trying to make the Balt lose weight... not gain it. But would be nice in the chilly evenings, and I am sure the ladies would appreciate it, lol.

Yeah, it's not really going to make any difference in your car's weight. A winter coat and big lunch would make more weight change in the car than a heated seat kit.

Ordered 2 sets of the premium kits.

I'm sooo looking forward to my butt being warm this winter... hehehe. Not having headed seats or remote start is a pain on those cold winter days.

I would love to see a how to on this. Do you just wire it into cigarette lighter or what?

If a how-to and pictures were up, I would buy this.

I'm too much of a noob to try by myself.

They do have instructions posted on there website but does not include photo's. I'm not one for messing around with wiring or any kind but I'm willing to take a chance on this one. One of my buddies have got to know something about wiring in cars. I'm sure you know someone that has some sort of a clue that can help you out.

I wrote a how to on installing a heated seat. It's been since edited in the how-to section, and also exists in the Electronics section.

Anyway, my kit was from a different vendor, but I'm pretty damn sure they're really all the same, I don't see why anything would be different. The only thing that will differ is I have the SS/TC seats, but I'm sure the fabric comes off pretty much the same way on any trim level. Worst case scenario, you have hog rings, but I doubt it, and they're easy to work with anyway.

Just glanced over your How-To..... nice job. Now I am quite confident that I can easily install the kits. Thanks for the info!! I'm sure that this will also inspire others to buy the these kits seeing as how they have such a detailed write up to guide them.

Personally, I think the vender should offer you a little reward for your imput especially if it helps generate some sales.

Hmmmm...the one that "never" showed up. Well it did take a VERY long time to appear, so I did give up on the mods ever getting it up there.

Previous post has been edited. I'm only half sorry though.

No, it's wired into the fuse panel or directly to switched power. These are meant to integrate into the car as a permanent accessory and are not temporary. Once installed, they will look like they came with the car.

Yeah after looking at installation instruction and How-To, these look like a great install and product idea.

And thank you also! Enjoy. I know I could not live without heated seats. It's one of those things that you get used to and can't ever go away from, like breathing or having a pulse.

The last time I posted, I had revieved my kits...... well I did the install yesterday and I love them!! The install is not difficult at all, a little time consuming but not difficult. The tricky part for me was the wiring as I was a little on the nervous side. But with a little help, it turned out to be quite simple.

Special thanks Highbeamz for taking the time to do a 'How-to' it was a huge help!!

Thanks PFYC for a great product. Its a 10/10 in my books.

Hi:

The deal ended Oct 17 as noted in my original post. Sorry about that! Keep track of the vendors specials more often to be sure not to miss these!

You will want to choose the seat material based on what your SEATS are, not what covers you have on them. The heaters go under the seat material itself so if Chevy put cloth in your car, choose "cloth" and if they had leather in there, choose "leather" regardless of the cover you have on top of the factory material.

Thanks!
