10 JL in Boosted SS ;) Stock Enclosure, 5.8 Double Din
I Removed The Crappy Pioneer And MAde The ENclosure Bigger and did a lil bit of custom work ... i have it powered by a kicker350.2 at 4ohms hidden under where the spare used to be.. a pioneer avicf900bt in the dash and 2 JL 6.5' in the doors , full bluetooth, mp3 , ipod video, navi.. control on the steering wheel! what do u think

I give it an A for effort, and a clean install (here comes the but....)
That JL can't come even close to its potential in that horrible plastic encloser that comes with the coblats, even if you did hollow out the honeycomb from inside. I don't know how you even fit it in there.
The stock subs are bolted in through the rear of the box as well, this is because the weight of the sub and the vibrations take there toll on plastic so they need support to prevent the plastic from breaking. That JL has to be twice as heavy as the stock sub and its not supported from the back.
Get a proper box built for it, you have no idea how much you missing.
From the view of the houses across the street from (rear view cam) I think you can afford it, plus it really won't cost that much to have a box for 1 10 built, its a little more $ if you go fiberglass but still not that bad

I Understand That The Sub Can Hit Alot Better.. But I Like The Way It Looks And it Still hIts Pretty damn Hard IN the enclosure, i sealed it completly there are no holes!!

Clean install! I like the way it looks. Kudos. I was looking to do the same with an alpine flip up dvd and the whole shebang but got too anxious. In the near future as I plan to do my installs myself.

how does the stock sub enclosure come apart, i just tried to take mine apart but i dont want to force it and break nothing. looking to get a better quality sub in it.

heres my subs from my old 06 ss stage 2 that i totaled .. so now u understand why i went with the smaller and more efficient sub...1500 watt amp to 2 12 kicker L7's
p.s. good luck tryna fit that in a ss trunk .. i had to remove entire rear end!
