10's behind wheelwell?

I am planning on moving my system into my new ss next weekend. Has anyone on these boards built custom boxes to go in the trunk behind the wheelwell to save space?

I haven't personally, but you may want to measure everything out before trying to squeeze it in there, if you have a pre-made box.

The dimensions of the trunk are ludicrous. Like only a 13 or 13 1/2" opening. Most boxes would not fit for me, but I am sure after a year, someone has come out with something to combat the problem.

Well, I'm going to put the two elemental designs subs that I have in. They are only 10's and need a .5 cubic foot sealed box. It looked like enough room last time I looked. My car isn't here at the moment so I can't check.

should be, it will be easier to mount it on the left side, there is a hole already in the wall that you can use to secure the box

There is plenty of room for a 10. I'm planning a box for my MTX 12 in the same location. I'm extending it up the inside of the wheel well to add a little air space.

The SS/SC comes with a box stock back there. I'm sure you could get one for the left side, but not sure aboutthe right.
