1st gen projector drilling

Hey was just told that the problem with my lights are the projectors actually. I heard you need to drill out a part for the bulb to fit in correctly. Any idea on where? do i just drill the 2 dimbles more so a longer tab can go in? I have 1st gen projectors and need help to make it HID compatible.

did same thing

Yea i did the same thing but from what I hear the LEAD wire needs to be facing down so that the pins of the H1 bulb fit in the actually dimples on the projector... gonna try it out... first look to see if it will work and if it looks like it i will drill it out.
