55 watt ballast with 35 watt hid kit

I have a 35 watt hid kit and I was wondering if I could use 55 watt ballasts to make them brighter

yes as long and the bulbs are at least 55w bulbs ...ddm kits all come with 60w bulbs no matter what kit you buy so theirs all work togather. and also with the 55w kits it will wash out the color a bit
