7 speaker Pioneer System question...
Picked up my SS last week...and love it. I'm looking at upgrading the sound system, i've got the Pioneer 7speaker system, and i really like the sound but I'm pretty sure i can get some crisper, cleaner sound (not more bass). I just want to know if anyone knows if the speakers are actual pioneer non-paper speakers, or are they the generic crap that usually is installed by the factory? Because if they are they need to be removed immediately. And any suggestions on speakers...thanks a lot everyone.

Anyone know if the amplifier section is in the head unit or if it's a seperate amp elsewhere? I'd like to boost the power.

The rear speakers are not paper cones. The door speakers, however, are paper and sound like crap. The stock tweeters didn't sound too bad in my opinion. I replaced my door speakers with MB Quart Q series components, and they sound awesome. They are very crisp and clean. Some people don't prefer the sound of their titanium tweeters, but I do. You just have to adjust the equalizer accordingly. I also like the sound of Infinity Kappas. It really just depends on how much money you want to spend.
