AC only blows cold on far pass side

Hello everyone, just bought my cobalt and I am still working out some kinks on it. Was hoping someone could give me a hand on this one. I've seen posts about this, but never a solution.

The AC will blow cold, but only out of the far passenger vent. Air flow is not an issue to the other vents, they all flow evenly. It is an issue of temperature. The whole system has been recharged about 2 months ago.

Has anyone encountered this or know what it might be? Hoping not to have to tear the whole dash apart.

Tia!

Sounds like it's low on refrigerant, why was it recharged 2 months ago?

The cobalt system only has one temperature blend door so it's not that.

Got it with 70k miles. Was warm when I test drove it, they offered to have it fixed. Was told they just recharged it. No signs of leaking at all either.

Have you measured the temperature difference between the vents?

I have not. Limited tools right now, the difference is huge just by feeling it. The vent that blows cold feels how it should, and the other three feel as if the fan is simply on.

There's no temperature control for individual vents, so if it's cool there and warm other areas, it's usually low refrigerant charge issues. I'd assume your evaporator is leaking if you can't see any leaks.
