Adding Steering Radio Controls after market?

Is there anything else I need to install this? and is there anything I can/need to do to make sure my radio has the port to plug the wiring harness into?
I have a 2009 Chevy Cobalt, and will provide any additional info that is needed to get this question answered. So please feel free to ask.

Are your trying to do this with your stock or aftmarket radio?
If stock and you already have cruise, you can buy an SS steering wheel and just put it on. That's what I did. Everythinbg works GREAT.......and it only cost me $112 (including the new steering wheel nut)
