Adding Sub?

I am going to adding a aftermarket sub to my stock system which is the Pioneer 7 speaker system. I am going to use the sub wires to connect to a LOC or an amp with speaker level inputs. Question is I have noticed that the LOC lists 80W max per channel input, and the amp lists only 40W Max input for speaker level inputs. How much is the factory amp putting out to the factory sub? Or should I not worry about it?

dont worry about it. the numbers printed on an LOC are just so you will buy it over a different one. for the most part they are all the same ****

Thanks for the help. Would a LOC be a better solution or going direct to speaker level inputs on the amp?
Don't know if the 40W/ch limit on the speaker level inputs of amp would be a problem?

whatever easiest really. its sorta a throw up between the two on noise rejection and all that but they both have small pros and cons that can be fixed with a good install. so just do whatever and dont worry bout it
