id say go with an amp instead the stockers are pretty good, just need more juice

i have heard a new head unit/amp combo makes the stockers sound much better.

Just replacing the radio will help with the speakers sounding better, but you can only get so much better with stock speakers. Aftermarket one will sound better just cant go too cheap alpine, infinity are some good mid priced speakers that you definantley hear a difference in SQ.

Stock door speakers suck. Mine blew and replaced them with some cheap Kicker 6.5s and it sounds way better.

aftermarkets will sound better but unless you get 2 ohm speakers they will be quieter
