Aftermarket Gauges
I have an AEM Uego Wideband and I have searched on how to wire it for power. All I keep coming up with is tapping into the pink wire of the boost gauge but there has to be a better way. Has anyone ran the power into an empty fuse or an existing fuse with any luck? this would be useful not only for wideband but any other gauge that is aftermarket, because you dont want to starve any gauge of its power.
If anyone has ran it different please explain how. I am trying to figure something out but at the same time asking if it has been successfully done before. as I said I would like to run it to its own fuse or tap into an existing fuse not a wire.

i ran all my aftermarket power mods off empty fuse slots in the bcm power block with no ill effects. just run the power wire down to the power block and use a mini make a fuse and find a ground thats close to the gauge.

Thank you! I just did this. I got a atm make a fuse and just found a slot and checked to make sure it was only powered during ignition. then wired everything up accordingly. I guess I should have checked to see the effects of the bcm power block, my bad. thanks for the input though! Wideband is up and running.

I agree with outtamymind. I wanted to run it on its own fuse. After I asked and got a response I ran a voltmeter in the fuse slots and found they get power when the car is on. Not all of the slots do this though I would presume.
