Aftermarket H/U to stock sub

Was just wondering if anyone was able to hook their stock subwoofer up to their aftermarket head unit. I have subs in my trunk now but I just want to go back to the stock on. Is this possible?

are you trying to use the stock amp, or use your aftermarket amp to power the sub

all you do is use the correct harness and your new hu will give signal to the stock amp and it will power all speakers. Just bc u swap hus doesnt mean the stock amp will go crazy and not know what to do. its rather simple

that is assuming u didnt change anything when u installed new subs... didnt read that part

I have the stock amp removed right now because there was no need of it. I had a stereo shop install it all and I asked them if I just wanted to run the stock sub would I be able to and they said no. I want to take all there stereo gear out and put the stock sub back in.

Yes you can run the stock amp/speakers with an aftermarket h/u if you get the right harness.

depends really on what wiring u have left back there. assuming all the stock harnesses for the stock amp are intact and indeed plug and play u could easily go back to the stock sub but i have a real good feeling thats not an option
