Question Aftermarket Pioneer radio is cutting out.

Hello all!

This past weekend, I finally took the plunge and replaced my stock Cobalt radio with the Pioneer DEH-4300UB. I used the FAQ on here to order my parts and while a bit complicated, I got everything wired up, soldered, shrink tubed and put back together. When I turned the unit on for the first time in the garage, everything was fine. Good sound and no problems. However, this entire week I'm noticing a problem with the FM tuner. The audio will randomly drop out on me as if the song is skipping. It seems to happen at high notes in the songs. However, it doesn't do it in every song. It truly seems random. The CD and AUX are fine. Has anyone heard of this happening before? And if so, what was the solution?

Bit of info:
2006 Cobalt LS automatic
Stock everything

Harness: http://www.amazon.com/Metra-70-2103-.../dp/B000UQ7WPK
GM Adapter: Amazon.com: Metra 40-GM10 GM Antenna Adapter: Car Electronics

Thanks for any help folks

Well, glad I'm not the only person experiencing this then.

No amps as far as I know unless the stock stereo has one. And no, I couldn't find anything to connect the blue wire to. I folded it over and covered the end.
