Aftermarket XM parts
Am buying a Jensen DVD deck, and was hoping one of yall who work in the stereo biz can advise the XM parts that I will need to buy and best place to get them. If you know names or part numbers that would be extremely helpful. Ideally would like to order online to get the best price. Help if you can please
Thanks!
Thanks!

Awesome. and just to make sure, if I get that kit, I can mount it in the back next to the old xm unit and the new brand specific cable will be able to reach up to the front where the stereo is, correct?

probably not. how the aftermarket xm kit is is the xm tuner along with a direct plug in jensen unit. both normally go connect together and then you have a long ass antenna that is magnetic that you place anywhere on the exterior of the car.
Take my advice and don't attempt to use or facilitate the use of any stock parts. Yes it might be possible but in the end installing xm to an xm ready hu is very easy. tedious but easy. Attempting to interface with the stock antenna or box will require removal of the rear dash and possibly everything back there depending on how good you are removing the rear dash.
