Ahhhh Help!!
Ok so i recently (less than 2 weeks ago) installed the avic d3 in my car. bypass and all everything works without a problem. I just went out to install my back up cam, and i had the radio poped out and everything plugged in to make sure it workd before i threw a wire to the back of my car and after it did i placed the radio back in the dash and it powered off and my car started to flash a service airbag error. If i reset this would it fix the problem? does anyone know whats wrong. please...any help would be appreciated. Thanks....

ive got that message a couple times while working on electronics. Does your car start? cuz myne didn't!
In my case it was a blown fuse. Go through and carefully check ALL of your fuses. Remember, you have to fusebox's, one under the hood, and one in the cabin.
I cant remember what fuse i blew or how it even happened, but it wasn't related to the project i was working on so thats why you need to check them all.

Figure out how they fused your HU when they hooked it up and check that fuse if you haven't already. I know that most people on here have been using the sunroof or the wiper fuse. Most of the time an install place will wire it to the ignition but if they just used a fuse tap that comes with the wiring harnesses then that fuse may be blown.
Another thing you can check is the fuses in the back of the HU. I don't know why that would throw a airbag error...But if you can trace down the HU problem then you may be able to track down the air bag error problem.

yea its a blown fuse, im not sure wut it was tapped into, but the fuse is clearly blown. Im going to change it before i go to work, but does any one know how to reset the error? or will it just go away itself?

It should just re-set itself. If it doesnt, try disconnecting the battery for about 15mins. This should re-set all codes and as long as you've got the system wired up correctly you should be good. If there is a wiring or other issue, the code or error will come back and you know you've got to fix something else.
