Alarm :
Hi everyone,
On the auto page alarm systems, when you push the unlock/lock button on the 2way remote, there is about a 30 second delay from when you hit the button till it actually arms/disarms the alarm. But on the 1way spare remote, it works perfectly. Could this be a bad remote? I'm not sure on the model, I'm posting this for a friend, has the carbon fiber remotes though.

I posted a "how to fix your keyless entry remote" thread last week, but the mods haven't cleared it yet.
Re-solder the battery posts inside the broken key fob, the factory solder is cheap and breaks, causing intermittent battery connectivity.

When I had my viper alarm system it was the same way, its because the 2-way remote takes longer to communicate than the regular remote does. If it has over a mile range with a 2-way remote that's the way it's going to be all the time, there isn't much you can do. 30 seconds sounds a bit extreme, mine was more like 10 seconds but either way you will have some delay.
