Amp Overheating

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/how-guide-43/how-upgrade-stock-pioneer-sub-sound-awesome-look-stock-pics-160955/

So I followed this guide and everything works fine. Only one problem, my amp gets very hot to the point of almost burning me if I touch it only after about 40 to 45 minutes of music, not all of it loud. I have the GM-5300T amp and pioneer speaker recommended in this guide. The amp is running in bridged mode and the gain is at about 4v. Is there something I have done wrong or am I overdriving the amp? I also thought that maybe it was my power or ground cables. Does it matter where the power is connected to the battery? Any help would be appreciated, and thanks in advance.

The problem is the Pioneer amp you have is not very efficient
The are well known for there overheating issues, they are just not very good at making good use of the power they get, they loose alot to heat.

I suggest looking into something digital, or at least with a 85% efficiency rate on it, and IMO not Pioneer
