Amp powering rear and door speakers question
If I have alpine 6x9s (80 rms, 240 peak0 in the rear and alpine 6.5 components (80rms, 240 peak) in the doors all 4 ohm speakers and I want to get a 4 ch amp, should I get an amp that produces 80 watts x 4 at 4 ohms or should I get something less.

You don't want to run the amp at full tilt all the time, but you might not want to run the max amount of power into the speakers either.
So get the amp make sure you run it at 4ohms and only turn it up to about 80-85% power.
This all depends on what type of amp is as well
Whats the name, model #?
