Amp problems?
I just got back from audio express and they measured my stock sub and the readings were good but it still doesn't work. They said they could get one of their technicians to check it out but its $70 an hour
Does anyone no why the sub might not be workin even tho its not blown?
bump

i cant find the amp tho, i know its round the pedals somewhere but cant seem to find it, my guess is that it lost connection to the sub or something cuz since its factory amp if it was fucked up then none of my speakers would work

It has to be the sub, then cuz I think the 6x9's and the sub share a connection.
Test the wires that lead into the sub, see if your getting a signal.
The amp is on the firewall above your clutch, way up there, but your right, if it was the amp it would prob. effect more than just the sub

i know you checked the sub but you need to check the amp too... not actually at the amp thats pretty much impossible without taking it out and thats a bunch of bullshit you dont need to even **** with.
Unplug the sub and test the wires for AC voltage. theres 4 of them so just try them until you read something. make sure you have the volume on the deck pretty high. id say 3/4ths to make sure you can tell. Im not sure the power output of the amp so i cant specifically say what you will read but you should be able to tell if its working or not.... if it isnt working you wont notice a big difference if it is you'll get a few volts and it will be going up and down with the music
amp is probably good since the 6X9s work as spun said but who knows. could be a wiring issue (there are 2 separate runs from the amp for the sub and the rear speakers even thou they utilize the same channels
