Not a problem. Saves on cost of wire and less voltage drop to the amp. Not to forget ease of installation.

does anyone know exactly how to bolt the power wire to the postive terminal.. i'm kinda of having trouble and i notice there is a stud that sticks out in the postive terminal but has no nut. maybe if i figured out the size of that nut i could place the power wire on that.

yes use like a battery terminal connector

kinda like this

http://www.absak.com/catalog/product...roducts_id/530

cut off some to clear just for the wires and put in the slot and crimp it so it wont come un-done and then for protection wrap it up with some electrical tape to make sure it wont come undone (back up).

but yes definately run it back to your battery, instead of using feets of power wire your only going to use inches. actually i used 2 feet, so i could move it around. good luck man and if u got any more questions lay them on me.

I just used the stud and put a nut and lock washer on it after soldering a ring terminal onto my 4ga wire. I routed the wire right out under the factory red clip cover thing and it looks stock. I forget what size the nut is now but it's metric, any hardware store should have what you need.
