OK you guys may find this dumb and unnecessary but is there anyway to run your fm radio off of the XM antenna and possible just do an Intenna delete. If not just let me kno. i just think it would be sweet with out the antenna and just use the "shark Fin" XM antenna

I understand where your coming From but i got other people who drive the car and listen to the radio because they are boring, Just use CD or Aux but lol

yeah idk i have a shorty antenna and it still gets all the channels but i dont use my xm radio so idk if itll pick up

i bought one from ark performance. or some ppl grind there stock one down and then trim it to a point so that the ball thats on the end can fit once its cut

no you cant. they are different. I know someone makes some with both the XM and FM antenna built in but our shark fins arent like that

nope ive only herd of it. We dont do much XM at the shop and even if we did i wouldn't drill a hole in someones roof no matter how much they paid

can you use the factory xm antena with an aftermarket xm reciever? I don't want to have 2 xm antenas and look retarded.

i bought a thing called a PX AMG for my 2006 cobalt ss because it doesnt have a way to connect my ipod to the radio OTHER than a stupid **** sounding radio transmittor. so the PX AMG is a plug and play that goes directly into the back of the radio and it make your XM station thingy for the ipod and it sounds cd quality. ha now that point of this story was that you can get it with an hd radio thing. and im not sure at ALL because i didnt want it so i dont have it and idk ANYBODY else that has EVER used it other than me ha but i think it probobly comes with its own antenna thing like an indash monitor with gps would ya know. idk. check it out but if it comes with what im talking about youd have hd radio and you could remove your antenna. AGAIN idk know im just throwing this out there. check it it out.
