antenna reception

i have the ark shortie antenna and a pioneer z2 and get absolutely no radio reception (i used to with the factory antenna) anyone else have this problem? what did you do to solve it? i thought about getting one of those powered antennas you can hide in your car and use the shortie just for looks...

you could check and make sure that antenna is connected to the base of the fm antenna inside the trunk. or make sure its connected behind the radio.

i dont have xm and dont drive enough to really want to pay for it, (even though I like it) i just never really get to hear new music cause i dont have radio! i have my moded xbox with music, the z2 hard drive with music, and my ipod with music but i get a little behind with the new stuff. i go jammin down the road listening to a song that was good 2 months ago! (and get funny looks, like man this guy is just a little behind!)

both are connected i just think its the combo between the z2 and the shortie, fm comes in on a certain length of antenna, not on a shortie!

Meh, the reception with the stock antenna sucks, don't imagine it would be better with a shorty.

The power antenna sounds like a good idea, pics / vid when it's done
