I had a 12" L5 that I was pushing with a Kicker KX600.1 amp.
I downsized though cuz I had to take my backseat out to get the sub in and out of the 'Balt

I also had a kicker solo l5 on a 2003 KX 600.1... I had the dual 4 ohm speaker wired @ 2 ohms, which is were the amp really pushes, and i went through 2 l5's before i finally bought an l7... I do competitions and i say that Solo barics are competition only speakers, not for everyday sound... Unless your not really pushing the RMS, then they are GREAT! I now have two Kicker comp VR 12's and they are holding up just fine...

In my Cobalt i am running 2 L7's with 2 of the kicker 1000.1 amps, and the kicker 640.4 to run the speakers. INSANE. i ahve dumped over $12000 in my stereo, the cobalt is a platform to run a big stereo due to the trunk size and the shape of the trunk and roof. If you are planning to run a stereo in i syggest to do it.

I had a 15" L5 for a while. It was a little overwhelming, but it sounded awesome! If your going to install 2 go with 10" L5's. They will give you good sound quality and plenty of volume.
