i got two twelve inch 2008 type R's and they are the besti ever owned or even heard before...they are the exact same as the type X, juss triple stacked cone instead of quad, and half the price.

go with 2 12" alpine type s 2ohm and the Q-logic box for $30 from Bestbuy (was on sale i think it's $90 now), that site has them for $70/sub and they are loud enough to hurt my ears on a sony 2002gtr 1200 watt amp. The amp is 500 rms but (250 X 2 @ 2ohm) so its not too little and wont blow them either...
The type r is better and is only 115 on their site they are amazing with prices and quality together

u want a good setup try the L7 kickers with a Brutus amp there actually going lower now but go to the flee market thats were i got mine at just make sure u find a good dealer there lol my cuz has 2 12inch L7 and they pound he had 15 but wouldnt fit in the car lol

Well if your planing to keep you car in one piece, two L7's is over doing it. I have 1 L7 in a ported box and with a Brutus amp and i have been pulled over twice for having my music to loud and that was with the bass *** turned a quarter the way up.

there new stuff is crap i bought to subs and had them in for about a week and was like **** this so i went out an layed enough money to feed a small army on some P3s and have been happy ever since DO IT RIGHT DONT CHEAP OUT
