anybody know where the positive power supply from the stock harness comes from?
Like the title says, anybody know where the (+) positive power wire comes from in the stock 2007 Cobalt radio? is it connected straight to the battery or where? just wondering..... thanks guys.

I do believe there is a sticky, in this section that gives you a breakdown of the pinouts. owever if I remember this right, I don't think the there is a 12v (ignition) that comes through the harness, I think I read about some people bringing a line in from the fuse box, for the constant power you might have to go from the batt.
Like I said I'm shakey on the details but the pinout guide should help solve the problem

thanks man, il check it out... cuz i ran into a BIG problem... when i got home yesterday from my trip, i plugged in the stock stereo and it wouldnt power on AT ALL... so im like, ****, i mustv blown a fuse somewhere..... do u know if theres a fuse for the stereo?

Ok so after lookin over the owners manual, i found the fuse for the stock harness 12v (red/black stripe)... i replaced the 15amp fuse, tested it with a voltmeter and it worked!! thanks guys!!
