the bass slammer is smaller at 1.9 cu total airspace so subtract the port and its pretty small the other one is better but its best to have the port and sub on the face

how do you think the L7 would sound in the bass slammer? my only reason is cuz its way cheaper to get the bass slamer and a L7 for some reason they really wanna get rid of that box and its cheper than the sub is normally if i get the box with it.

well considering the box is tiny contrary to their 3.0 cu ft specs and has no tuning freq (but since its MTX its probably high)

it would probably do alright but not really "good" but its still a pretty big sub so

I'm a RE Audio fan the RE SE 12 D4 will kill any of your previos picks . they only need 600 watts rms but has bench tested over 1000 watts rms 3 " excursion . The Sq properties are some of the best in a spl subwoofer.

are u sure it would beat a DC lvl 4 xl, T3 TSS, Orion HCCA, and a DD9512?....dont think so

none of RE's subs can beat one of the subs i mention'ed above head to head in a SPL or SQ competition except for the RE MX and XXX they would probably or most likely win a SQ competition

spl the mt would probably be 2nd or 1st of those subs you have listed. i would take the DD out of all of them personally but RE is still in the game.

Its hard to compare brands and subs like that because they are all good. it really comes down to the install in those cases. plus i dont think he was actually going to get any of those subs, he only asked about kickers. this is a daily system with a prefab box. throwing the biggest and baddest SPL subs is stupid, a bigger sub especially an spl sub really only gets louder because it handles more power without the power its nothing more then extra weight plus the fact a prefab will break.
