Audio ?- Speakers 4"x6" versus 4"

I'm trying to figure out what speakers to put into my Silverado. It has 4x6's in the B-Pillar (Regular Cab) and 6.75" speakers in the door. I am trying to decide if I should:

a) Replace Factory 4x6's with new 4x6's.
b) Replace Factory 4x6's with 4's
c) Leave Factory 4x6's alone.

The 6.75's are blown. I am trying to decide if I should go with:

a) 6.5" Marine Speakers (its a work truck with a rubber floor and it gets dirty)
b) 6.5" 3 Way Aftermarket Speakers
c) 6.75" 4 Way Aftermarket Speakers

I'm sure you audiophile's have some opinions. Please post them.

4 Inch with bass blockers for highs. and replace the rear with the 3 way and get them amped that way you have some lows.

Ok, I don't know audio stuff too well, although I understand electronics decently (I build pc's). What do I have to look for in a speaker to get bass blockers? What is the benefit of a 4 way over a 3 way speaker?

The 6.75's are in the door - lower in front. The 4x6's are directly behind the seats. So, it's kinda backwards for optimum sound.

bump, bump.

don't get 3 or 4 way speakers.... honestly its not the number of tweeters they can cram in there that determines sound. I would look at some alpine marines for the doors and replace the 4X6 with a good quality 4 from a componant set (no tweeter)

Remove the rear speakers completely
Get 6.5" components (Infinity Kappa, Alpine Type-R, etc.) with a 2-channel amp up front
Get a 10" or 12" sub for behind the seats with an amp
