Just a guess, but maybe you somehow changed the radio settings to only play/fade to the back speakers.. I don't have the stock radio for awhile, but I think you just hit tune knob and it'll allow you to change the speaker settings.

Tried all that, I think its the metal sides in the radio that touches the cord to play sound. I wonder how I can fix it without taking the radio apart. I would get a different dash but that wiring harness is too much money.

i think he means a new aftermarket radio.
regardless the only cheap method would be opening up the old radio. and thats assuming u dont break it. a new stock radio will also cost the programming from the dealer + however much the unit is
aftermarket will cost unit, install and installation pieces
You might be able to swap faces on a stock unit to avoid having to do the reprogram. but im not sure how possible that is

My plan was to just change out the stock to another stock one but programming will cost me. Just seeing anyone knew a secret to fixing this without taking everything part. Guess I gotta take it apart and hope for the best.
