AVIC-D3 trouble shooting need help!!!
So, I recently bought an AVIC-D3 player off a buddy of mine, and it didn't work, long story short, it need to be sent out for warrenty work, Well it was sent out for work and was fixed and sent back to me. now I installed the radio in the car and it now works but, have I have no sound? now im useing factory speakers and stock sub. i checked all wires and nothing was loose. other thing is i didnt use the expenisive harness either, for i dont have on star in my car. now my friend also has the same radio in his car hooked up the same way and it works, hes just hard to get a hold of... any ideals everyone?

i forgot but i got the d3 also and mine works, but there is a harness iam pretty sure or u have to bypass the stock something in order for it to work. i did mine along time ago, ur gonna wanna amplify all the speakers separately, the head unit doesnt give full sound as the factory head unit.

lol who ever is hooking it up for u isnt paying attention. The wire color off the pioneer harness needs to be blue/white (remote) not solid blue (power antenna)
clock and screen calibration should be in one of the menus. Its very valuable for you especially if you gonn use this thing for a while to littereally go into every option you can find. you wont remember them all but it will help you down the road when you need to set something or change something thats weird
