avic d3 and xm

What do I need to get XM radio to work with the avic? Is there some kind of a adapter that i can get or do I need to get the actual XM module from pioneer ( GEX-P10XMT ) I was talking to someone about it and they were thinking that I would have to replace the antenna if I got that module from pioneer which im thinking is going to be difficult to replace the stock XM antenna with this one.... Plus the thought of it not sealing right once done. anyone have info that would be great.

i'd love to see pics of someone removing the puck from the roof i went to 2 local shops, one of which does total custom builds and he told me just to put another ant. on the roof not worth the modification.

love to see some one do it though. . .so they could figure it out for me!
