Basically im a audio n00b and would like advice

I believe my back speakers are blown because the stock speakers are pretty cheap on the LS. I have a 2006 sedan and was look for some suggestions on upgrading the speakers, the deck and possibly throw some subs and an amp in. Any help would be appreciated guy

Im just looking for something that sounds good.

just get some slightly better than stock ones in the back, get deck, and you can get some pretty crazy bass from just one JL W7. I have one in my car, check out my gallery and heres a link with some info on the W7 its well worth the money!

I have about 400 to 600 to play around with so I would like to buy a pretty decent but basic setup.

honestly go into you local audio shop. tell them your budget and they should be able to take car of ya. i would recommend Creative Car Tunes in Leymone, PA. but i dont know where in PA you are. id say you should be able to do a simple clean system for around 600.
