Battery questions

OK, so I know I will feel dumb asking this.

I know the battery is in the trunk on my '06 ss s/c but how do I get at it? Should I just pull out on the side carpet? (It is on the right side, right?)

I just don't want to mess anything up on my new car when I install my amp & subs.

I've done about 10 installs before but nothing worth taking this much care on (this is my first vehicle with a warranty).

Pix wouuld be nice too.

With all the trouble you had installing a fuse tap you shouldn't be one to pick on someone else's ability......
