Not that I would ever put this kind of stuff in my car, I still think it's cool as hell. Good luck!

That is true, I'm not gonna lie they do beat hard. But I'm more of a low frequency person, the kicker series of subs hit very hard but lack clarity, and won't hit low frequencies well. I have a rockford power T1 12" in my '02 S2K. with a 500watt amp. It will hit loud hard and clear all the way down to 18Hz. The sub would go lower if I had a more powerful amp. But another cheap and good way to go would be alpine! I'm switching all my stuff to alpine in my S2K. I'm still not sure what I'm gona do in my SRT. But if I were to get kicker I might go with the L7 or CVX just cause it's a lot harder to build a box for a square.

If you want SQ go for the JL but if just want big bad ass bass try the kicker solo X ,audiobahn Immortal or memphis mojo spl subs.Definatly JL w7 is the best SQ sub on the market for now but be careful with these they are fragile so be sure to give them the right amount of power.

i do agree the W7 has the best of both worlds. (not to mention the outragous prices) but i have found that some of the most unlikely subs can really surprise you. I owned a pair of bottom line boston generators.. i liked them, but still a little pricey, then i found ebay and got me a pair of audiobahn alum12's and those with the versitility the DVC were nice. i ran a MMatts class D mono 800 watt amp to them, and was far more than impressed.
but if you want all out noise go with these http://www.ddaudio.com/dd/default.asp DD's my budy had a pair of the middle line subs, and rattled his escort hatch almost off. you coudln't barely sit in the back seat with all the air these were pushing. but its all about prefrence
