I forget the model number but Personally I have 2 Dual brand 12" subs with a Jensen 425 watt amp and they knock the pavement. They are in a Fosgate showbox and I added some L.E.D.'s to make it real pretty. Heres a pic.... The best thing for me is that there is no rattle or anything for me.

Alpine Type R's best bang for your buck. I have two 12's and a MMATS 1500.1 Class D amp. They pound like crazy. You need a good amp most of all. Doesn't matter what subs you have, if you don't have a good amp to push them.

I have 1 12" kicker solo L5 and it pounds just as hard or harder than my old 2 15" rockford punchs. Powered by a 1100watt kenwood mono amp, the amp is turned up about 50-60%, my deck is 0 bass and 100 treble and that is already more bass than I need, The factory pioneer high end cant keep up to this sub that isnt even turned up all the way.
Oh, and there is lots of vibs and the trunk rattles lots.... I am going to invest in some dynamat.....
how much??? I might have a friend that might be intrested

if you want Pure mad bass, Matts Juggernaught, if you want bass and the best quality sound out of a sub you can get a JL W7, if you want it to pound like mad, and still have some of the highest quality sound available Orion H2's. Jugg's and Orions are mad power hungry though ! like previously stated your sub will only be as good as the amp driving it, the Orions are 2000Watt RMS, the Juggs are 1500ish if not mistaken....

hahaha, ok this is my one thing i love to talk about here.
I have 2 Apline Type R 12's and they knco pretty good. I picked mine up for 230 a peice. Things you have to factor in mainly is whats your price range to start? Though I will leave that out of the equasion.
I live my Type R's, but I wouldnt mind the Type X. Another damn good brand is Memphis Audio. The JL W7 is a beast to say the least. Kicker Solo's can knock too. I havent heard anything about this one yet, but MTX has a sub called the Jackhammer.
Like Sierrus says, then you got the Jugg's and the Orion's. I saw a dude (keep in mind this was a suburban) crack all the windows in his truck with 10 Orion 12's.
What ever you decide to get make sure you got a big enough amp to push what ever you are running and make sure you invest in a capacitor or 2.

I had a lone kicker solobaric 15 L7 with a mtx thunder 81000D in my achieva. that sucker hit so hard you could feel it sucking the air out of the center console cubby, and feel it coming off the windshield. I'm not sure if i want to put it in the balt or not. made the achieva rattle and creak real bad.
