I have 2 kicker L5 12's hooked up to the 2000 watt hifonics brutus amp and they hit real hard, alittle too hard.

JL W7's...done. Get 2 12's w/1000w each. You will probably remove 1 after if blows your wigg off.

I prefer MTX. But make sure you don't by one of the lower models (like the 4500). If you want it to sound good, get a 7500 or 8500 series.

well i've decided myself to put my solobaric l7 15 with the mtx in the balt this coming weekend. The car is rattling and popping on its own already so i figured what the hell. Can't wait to see how it hits!

I'd look into some Pioneer Premier 12's, the ones with 3000 watt capability...And then power them acordingly. If you want something you can get loud, JBL GTi Subs.... or RF Power T2's...there the ones I like.

I've got some old school RF Punch Power DVC's in my Cavalier, 2 12's, and there loud at half power, I can't wait to hear them at full power.

JL w7... my friend had 2 15's and he switched to one 12" w7 and it is incredibly loud

JL w7 .. there is no thinking on this one.. ive owned a w3 w6 and w0 all in the past and they are all excellent.. but the w7 is a true work of genious..

I have 2 12" L7's and they hit hard. everything in the car rattles, I cant even see out of the rear view mirror. I've had W6 before and these hit harder.

radio shack subs rock! you know the ones that only cost like 3.95 for the set... i rock my 72 blue pinto with those bad boys,, rollin down the street distorting the tunes.. jk

for cars i like the kicker L7s. i have never had a problem with them.. now off topic the best sub i have ever heard and had the pleasure to own is the bass tech 7 servo driven subs... i **** in my pants a little every time we get to bust them out... so so sweet...

i finished my system last night... i have my 2 12" audiobahn aw1251t subs, 3 farad spl capacitor, and 1200w sony xplod amplifier XM-2200GTX... ya ya i kno sony xplod amps suck and i thought so too until i hooked this bad boy up! it pounds the **** outta my audiobahns... i turn it up half way and i can't see out my rear view mirror... all the way... good luck hearing for the next hour or so... that thing is a beast

Well on the topic of subs Im taking my 2 Type R's to battle this weekend shooting for 130dB at the competition.
Running 2 Type R's each off of MRP-350 mono amps, 1 Cap, Unknown model number Kicker Cross over.

If Ill break the 125 mark Ill be happy. Ill post up Sunday with results

i personally am a diamond audio fan... , you want a sub that can pound and still have good quality, a diamond audio d9 is the way to do

when i turn up my Orion H2 12 inch my rear view mirror shakes downwards and points to my rear seats :p lol

i have trouble believing those knock the pavement with a 425 watt amp



but umm get some MTX subs, very good qaultiy.

I busted something in my rear deck tonight and it wasnt the 6x9's, the whole thing rattles and yeah...... needless to say I hit a little to hard with the bass cd i had in
