Best option for adding wheel-mounted audio controls
Hello,
I have a 2006 Pontiac Pursuit (Canadian, basically identical to Cobalt). i do not have the steering wheel with mounted audio controls and wondering what my best option is cost-wise and easiest installation. I have a Pioneer Avic-F700BT HU.
Would tracking down a genuine steering wheel with audio controls be hard to install? I am guessing they don't hardwire the controls in the steering column for future upgrades.
I see pioneer has a little device you manually mount to the steering wheel, but seems to have poor reviews on Amazon unless you do a little modification.
Thoughts?

if the wires are there, then the stock steering wheel with controls would be the best bet, otherwise, your going to have some work to do. but if your using a aftermarket radio it could be fairly simple.
