best replacement battery

what are a couple of the best replacement batteries out there? i have a 2006 cobalt ss/sc. pretty sure mine is dying. i will jump it and let it run for at least 30 min yesterday. then today it started fine. i drove it for about 20 min while recording on my interceptor gauge. i parked it and played what i recorded and the battery died while doing this(maybe 2 min after i shut it off) i had to jump it again the alt was working because it gave the batt 14.1-14.3 volts. when i shut it off the voltage went from 12.1 to 11.7 in 10 min.

If you haven't replaced it before then 6/7 years on a battery is pretty good. Pretty much get one with a good warranty on it. Probably something that is prorated in case something silly happens and it dies short of its expected life span. Interstate has always been good for me. I used an Optima on my Explorer for awhile and its been pretty good but I can't justify spending that kinda money on a battery again ($200).

As of right now, the 90-6YR battery has a 30 month free replacement period, with pro-ration for the rest of the 6 yrs after that. And from what I hear they are getting rid of pro-ration in a while..

I know Interstate has the same warranty as AC-delco. I didn't realize that people were getting away from the pro-rater warranty on it.
