I've had it for a few years. there was a member on here that used to sell a lot of them. I just don't think it always did that. Could be mistaken.

Has the car gone to the dealer at all during that time? It's standard operating procedure when they hook up to the car to do an update to the ECM/BCM OS as updates come out. My BCM was reflashed/updated by the dealer on my '09 the last time I was in.

My car goes to the dealer once a month for an oil change. Wouldn't that effect my tune though? I haven't ever lost my tune.

Nope. Your tune is on a different module.

Ah, then sure, it's entirely likely. My Chevy dealer out in Washington was outstanding. I'd bring them the car for an oil change once a month and without asking I'd get it back with all kinds of various pieces and parts replaced under recall or warrantee; tires rotated or whatever it might have needed. I never had to ask, they were more meticulous with my car than I am, and just took care of everything. Would not surprise me at all that they would have done an update to the radio at some point.
